The concept is an investor based, functional design. Basic idea behind the layout was to create a flexible space that can be easily modified to the needs of different leaseholders and personnel changes through time.
There is a new concept for workspaces and common areas; working environment is compact and communicative, giving new opportunities for more creative teamwork.
Steel facades, which are based on nanotechnology, are the first of their kind in Finnish architectural and technical design.
Ground source heat pump systems enable energy-efficient heating indoors: 34 drill holes with an overall length of over 8 km collect the necessary heat from under the soil. This provides sufficient heating for winter and cooling for summer.
All equipment has been chosen with energy conservation in mind and are controlled by an automated setup; Electrical consumption of ventilation system is adjusted to the needs of different parts of the building, lights function automatically by detecting the amount of natural daylight and movement of people, and all water supply fittings conserve water.
